Msgr. Jim Hutton, former pastor of St. Patrick's, received an honorary doctorate from Thornloe University for his ecumencal work in Sudbury. Rev. John Gibaut said of Msgr. Hutton in conferring the doctorate, "That churrches and church institutions in Sudbury are able to work together and support one another owes so much to Fr. Jim."
